In late November 1987, my wife and I were at a hotel in Bali. I woke up reasonably hung over and looked at the lamp between the two beds.

This was a well hung room deity or maybe room demon. Anyway, the well hung little creature was not what we really needed to see. As it turned out, Kathie had drank a Long Island iced Tea the night before and was already feeling food poisoning. The sight of this "grinning beauty" sent her scurrying into the bathroom and triggered her first vomiting of the morning.   She would later have a bout of vomiting under a tree a monkey was chained to (this upset the primate). A very nice Australian woman gave Kathie some Ausie anti-nausea pills. These worked until we went through airport security and were in a room with no toilets. Then, she blew chunks on the nice clean floor. (We  could see the pill casings of the anti-nausea drugs.)

The upside is I bought her a replacement shirt and she wore that shirt for years...

I went to the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo last week. We had tickets in section 12, which was on the north end of the covered seating section.  I was seated next to a very busy isle next to me. Out on the arena floor was a man:

• standing on the saddle of a mule
• which was on the roof of his trailer
• with three "wild" horses milling around behind him.

It was very dangerous.

Instead of getting this picture, an oblivious by passer, going up the stairs, wondered into my camera's field of view. You would think folks would be watching what was going on around them...

I suppose I should be happy to have a set of boobs (attached to a woman) wonder in front of my camera. However, I am not happy. What happened to "situational  awareness" and common courtesy.  I wanted to get the picture of the man on mule on trailer...

Hopefully, this is the final shot at this picture...
